Beenleigh

"Reviews here are misleading. I suggest renting in Beenleigh before buying."

Beenleigh has a stigma for good reason. Gentrification may assist, however it's structural issues are still inherent.

Property is cheap and will always be cheap relative to other areas. Safety in the small hours is always an issue. Schools and parks are adequate. I would not recommend anyone to live here, unless it is the peak of your affordability.

I beg to differ. I own properties in Beenleigh. I have never had issues with rentals. Safety is relative. People living in areas with more thunderstorms have a higher risk of being struck. However, the probability is still pretty low.

Yep, but your reply is interesting do you live there yourself? Would you choose to live there yourself?

Definitely incorrect, whilst yes many years ago ie early 2000s this review would be correct. As of 2021 it's just simply factually incorrect.

Beenleigh highschool tops the lists of best school in Queensland, world class BMX and Skateboard Park. Green spaces and outstanding sporting fields which cater to more then just football and soccer. Community showgrounds which holds events like Monster Trucks, Concerts, and Fairs it's truly a winner for families with kids. You rarely go a few weekends without hearing a fireworks show from the showgrounds. The showgrounds have also understood the importance of allowing motoring enthusiasts to hold regular events which off the ability for spectators and motoring enthusiasts to meeting without incidents.

Everywhere you look either old homes are being knocked down and rebuilt with spacious modern homes or existing homes are being extensively renovated and landscaped. New business hub developments and a home maker centre currently being built where the old TMR building was located.

The city square often holds community events and movie nights put on by Logan Council.

Beenleigh is truly an undiscovered gem which has experienced amazing growth in property values and given the current development thats trajectory is only continuing up. Now is the time to buy-in and benefit from that growth whilst providing your families with an amazing community to thrive in.

I lived in the area for four years at the turning of the century. I had some unpleasant experience but I never regretted living there. Given opportunities, I would live there again.
