Beulah Park

"Peace and character close to Norwood village and the city"

Beulah Park lies about 3 km due east of the City of Adelaide, flanked by The Parade, Magill Rd, Gurrs Rd and Portrush Rd. Despite its close proximity to the City, Beulah Park is replete with native bird life, especially parrots, and this is the predominant sound that residents wake up to each morning. This charming suburb shares many favourable characteristics with its immediate, more famous (and more expensive!) neighbours Norwood and Kensington. Residents are typically a short 10-15 min stroll from the popular cafe, restaurant and shopping precinct of Norwood and the antique stores that line Magill Rd. They have the luxury of being able to walk to either the Chelsea or Norwood cinemas for a great evening out. If you work in the city, ride a bike straight down Beulah Rd and you'll be there in 15 minutes, or walk there in 30 - 50 minutes. You can kick a footy with the kids on Pembroke oval (Gurrs Rd) or on Olympic Oval across the road on the Parade. Public tennis courts abound. There are popular dog walking parks on Howard St and the Parade itself. This area is surrounded by great public and private schools (like Norwood/Morialta, Marryatville, Pembroke and Mary MacKillop), and is a short drive to many more. Buses to the city are frequent and easy to access. The suburb is quiet, clean, full of character buildings and simply great to live in.
