I have lived in Whyalla all my life, and unfortunately it is turning into a real epicentre for dropkicks and bogans. They have navigated their way here from all over the place and they have taken over the shopping centres, the roads and the schools. They litter everywhere, too lazy to find a bin, just have a look at McDonald's car park and you'll see what I mean, no respect for anything. Contrary to popular belief among locals, Whyalla is not a community minded town, too many people with their own agendas to be anything remotely community spirited. I you want community spirit, go to Port Pirie.
