Brunette Drive

"Best street in Castle Hill"

Brunette Drive would have to be the best street in Castle Hill closely followed by George Mobbs Drive. They are possibly the quietest, picturesque tree lined streets in the area. They also consists of many large, wide frontage blocks which gives you a sense of semi rural in suburbia.

Auburn

"A suburb with plenty of potential."

Auburn is the true meaning of multiculturalism. There is obviously a lot of racism in this city looking at some of the reviews.

All I can say is look at Redfern, Newtown and Marrickville of years past. They were what Auburn is today. It's only a matter of time (approx 5 years) that the city sprawl will push out to this suburb because it has all the requirements of the next suburb to take off. This suburb is a jewel that needs to be polished and eventually it will be.

Where else can you buy within close proximity to the city, that has all the necessities and is still affordable (for now). It has the many multicultural restaurants/cafe, it has the train station which has you in the city within 25 mins, it is surrounded by the main roads/motorways, it has the shopping and the best part is it's central within the Sydney metropolitan area. Basically you can get to all the metropolitan areas of Sydney within 30 mins by car or train for work purposes.

Another factor is your approx. 18km from the Sydney CBD and 8km from the Parramatta CBD.

Great for

  • Close to city
  • Shopping
  • Parks
  • Affordable property
  • Well connected to transport

Not great for

  • Badly needs an influx of stylish and trendy people

I have to agree. I am a white Aussie professional and I bought a lovely cottage here with my partner and we love it! The people are different but very friendly and interesting.
It is very multicultural and very busy just filled with life and vibrancy. I have never felt uncomfortable and always go for a walk.

Yes some people do dump rubbish and there are some young mails in noises cars but seriously I love living here.
