Maclean

"A gorgeous quaint little town"

Maclean is an adorable little town nestled on the mighty Clarence river. It has a boutique feel to it and has a rich Scottish heritage. The climate in this area is near perfect and there is a very good hospital in the heart of Maclean. A safe, pretty and affordable town to raise children and only 15 minutes to the beach.

Bridge St

"Lovely river views"

Close to everything with breathtaking views, as long as you don't mind a flood every 10 years or so!

Yamba

"A beautiful place to live with the perfect lifestyle balance"

If you love the beach, Yamba is the place for you. Still affordable, Yamba is how small beach towns used to be. On the down side it is not convenient to shops and medical facillities. Still a wonderful place to live, and I am sure in time, Yamba will grow and in time these facilities will be made available

Caboolture

"A barren, ugly and depressing place to live but a good oppourtunity for first home owners"

We lived in Caboolture for 5 years when we bought our first home and it was full of crime and just an ugly place to look at. It's miles from the city, and takes forever to commute to work. Some of the outer Caboolture suburbs are nice but Caboolture itself is a dump.We are happy to have gotten out. I would only recommend living here if you had no other choice - sorry to say. Maybe good for investing in rental property.

Lawrence

"A safe and beautiful community to live"

Lawrence offers a fantastic lifestyle, it is affordable, safe and beautiful. Lawrence is an idyllic place to raise children or retire. Only 25 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes to Maclean and 30 minutes to Grafton it is an ideal central place to live in the Clarence Valley. There is a great community spirit, a Public school, Preschool, General Store, Post Office and Tavern that has great meals. Lawrence is a clean and tidy town and if your looking for a sea/tree change it is a great place to live.
