Parkdale has a small town community feel, all of the neighbours, shops, schools are friendly. The sports grounds have people coming from the "Richer" suburbs as they either have none or fewer parks. The suburb itself is difficult to get into, you practically need to wait for a deceased estate to be sold before you can get is as they aren't making ay more land there.
