Lalor Park
"Look elsewhere"
We lived in lalor park for 3 of the longest years of my life. Yes it's cheap but there's a reason for that. There's a lot of housing commission and people who just don't care. I'd recommend getting a unit closer to the city than looking at this suburb.
Not great for
- Lalor Park's shopping centre and car park needs an upgrade.
- Breakins, dangeruous, junkies
- Low life

We are starting to see this change where a lot of the housing commission is getting knocked down, sold, or redevelop and they remove the old "low life". I do door knock in this suburb and I have found that the new housing commission redevelopments have mainly single mums and new immigrants that are very appreciative to get a property. I will say this tho, is that most don't speak very good English and a very unconfident. This means they don't want to stir up trouble and just start a new life! I have seen the suburb change a lot and the recent price growth of homes should prove my point......
