Upper Coomera

"Probably the best in Northern Gold Coast"

Have lived here for a few years and really like it. Despite being absolutely packed to the rafters, it retains a somewhat "small town" feel to it, particularly in the old southern parts on the river. Lots of places to eat out and many many supermarkets to choose from. Loads of schools as well and, depending on where in the suburb you live, its is usually well serviced by public transport. Being a large and diverse suburb, some parts are very expensive and snobby whilst others are quite rundown and crime ridden.

Great for

  • Range of living options (apartments, houses, canal living, gated estates, housing commision etc)
  • Lots of shopping options
  • In between Brisbane and Gold Coast (work either)
  • Lots of developments happening
  • Great for families
  • New area. Everything is looks clean.

Not great for

  • Too many roundabouts
  • Graffiti
  • Highway traffic

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • LGBT+
  • Students
