Donald

"Close Knit Welcoming Community"

Donald is a small rural community where everyone pitches in to make this town great! For a town of 1700, Donald is very well resourced with a Kinder, 2 Primary Schools and a Highschool, basic shopping options, and loads of sporting opportunities for kids and adults alike (footy, netball, hockey, cricket, tennis, bowls, basketball, squash, archery, swimming...). The people are very welcoming of new comers and inclusive of people in groups and clubs around the town. There is community gardening to mothers groups, craft, Men's Shed, Probis... You name it and you can probably do it in Donald. There are plenty of choices to eat out, day or night - 3 pubs, 2 take away cafes, 1 coffee shop cafe, and a Chinese restaurant. The schools are great and the locals friendly. Great place to live and get involved in small town rural life!!
