Jimboomba is a lovely quiet, friendly, safe place to raise a family. It has nice parks, local shops, a few coffee shops, take away shops, supermarkets. There are no major shopping malls with Kmart of Big W or anything like that. You will have to drive to Browns Plains if you want that. But this is what makes Jimboomba great - it is a nice quiet country setting. The people are amazingly friendly.

There are plenty of schools and daycare for the kids. It is very affordable which is also a big plus for young families. Neighbours are lovely and take the time to say hello and even watch over your place when you go on holidays. There is a real sense of community at Jimboomba. Slowly things are coming such as improvement to roads, shops etc.

If you are looking for a larger property to raise your family then Jimboomba will tick every box. However public transport here is pretty much non-existent. You dont have a car - dont move here!

I think in time public transport will have to come as people are moving further out from the city suburbs in the hunt for affordability and space.
