Secret Harbour

"Everything a family could want in a suburb"

Positives of Secret Harbour: Great for families; friendly, social community; one of the best surf beaches in Perth; lots of parks; excellent local pub/tavern (Whistling Kite) with a classy atmosphere; close to great waterways for boating; peaceful suburb with quiet streets, good schools; good community shopping centre; good transport system; great area for the health conscious family or individual; State Swim swimming school in the suburb; great golf course; friendly and supportive surf lifesaving club; lots of community events such as Autumn Fair, Carols and movies in the park; has a dog beach; halfway between Rockingham and Mandurah major shopping centres.

Negatives of Secret Harbour: Beach front needs to be revamped and modernised, needs to move away from the outdated 70’s style fish and chip joints (has the potential for something amazing); more footpaths leading to the beach are needed, have to walk on the road down certain streets; some areas still need developing such as around the town centre; Anstey Park quarter desperately needs some tree planting.
