"An absolute hell hole of a street to live in"

never any parking, constant noise from either the Holden Workers, the 24 hour car park, the building sites, the high rises in your back yard (if you could call a 4x4 cement pit a backyard) and the Tivoli Hotel - which by the way NEVER has any security on. Your house is used as a toilet for pub patrons on Fridays and Saturday nights, constant clean up of other peoples waste (urine, faeces, vomit, used condoms) as well as broken glass, empty alcohol bottles and rubbish that is constantly dumped in your front yard. Constant abuse from users of the street and the 24 hour car park. I have personally been spat on, flashed by drunks, had death threats made towards me and my children and had threats of people fire bombing my house - simply because I dared to stand in my own front yard. If you own a car, forget ever having anywhere to park it because the local businesses in the area use it for all day free car parking despite it only being a two hour limit, which by the way, the council NEVER police. Need to raise an issue with the local council - forget it, their response to residents has been "if you don't like it, move" ... and trying to get police out unless it is a dire emergency - forget it, we got told that most things they would normally go out to in the suburbs is "normal city activity" and we should "get used to it because it happens all the time". And don't get me started on the volley ball court at the other end of the street ... like crappy doof doof music? if you do then you should be right because the music is always so loud it rattles through the house ... at the other end of the street ... if you don't I recommend ear plugs. My recommendation is if you plan to live here - DON'T or make sure you have ear plugs, no car and damn good sleeping tablets to knock you out so you can at least sleep through the noise. Oh and the new bike lane up Frome Road ... makes it nearly impossible to get out or into the street via car without either running over a cyclist, a pedestrian with their head up their rear end or hitting an oncoming vehicle
