Phillips Street

"A great place to live, the views are glorious!!!"

Phillips street, is located in the Northern parts of a leafy suburb called Bracken Ridge. The people who live along our street are lucky to have beautiful views to the city. Most of the people we know have lived here for several years. We enjoy easy access to most major arterial roads and the beach (which has just had a multi-million dollar face lift) and only just a couple of minutes down the road. Their are bike ways and parks everywhere, so excercising is never a problem. Bracken Ridge has it's own library.

One side of our street belongs to the Enbrook Heights Estate which was built in the 1990-2000. Most of the houses on this side of the street are farely modern 4-5 bedroom style homes with large spacious living areas and most have a swimming pool. On the other side of the street are houses that were built in the 1970s-1980's the are also considered to be large homes with very large bedrooms and swimming pools and in their day would have been the envy of many.

A wonderful mixture of residents live on our street, from older couples either living in semi-retirement or have children who are in their late teens, as well as young families. Most of the people in our street live very comfortable lifestyles and enjoy BBQ's and socialising together.

We have a private school on our street and a state primary school around the corner. Bracken Ridge has a least four day care centres that I know of. Three dentists and two medical centres. The two new shopping centres are also within walking distance. A city express bus runs regularly along our street.

Phillips street is only a short walk to a number of famous award winning streets which come to life at Christmas time. They are just beautiful.

Only one down fall to the street is traffic, which can get rather noisy at times. It is used as a thorough fare by other vehicles travelling to other parts of Bracken Ridge. Occassionally you do get the odd teenager who wants to hoon, especially when it is wet.

We have just spoken with a new neighbour in recent days who was told by his real estate agent that the value of some of our houses in our street have gone up by $50,000 in the last three months. So for those wanting to invest in property it's worth a look.
