Daw Park

"Close to town is its best perk"

Lived here for 2 years, I enjoy the close proximity to the city but there are (sadly) a lot of ferals living in this suburb. House behind is a housing trust dwelling and the occupants are always fighting, smoking weed and having the music loud. My other neighbours are also rough. Left my car in the street only once and it was broken into.

Hi Rosso
I think the problems are due to the fact that you live next to housing trust dwellings NOT because the suburb you are living. In Adelaide there are many public housing around and some of them are located in good suburbs. The problems your described are likely to happen if you live next to public housing, regardless which suburb you live in, including those highly desirable and dearly priced suburbs. I lived in Daw Park in the past and neighborhood has been great. A quick fix you problem is to change your STREET or move away from being right behind housing trust.

Steady on. The poster was describing their experience living in Daw Park. Why are you taking it so personally?? Anyone interested in the area would want to know all aspects about living in Daw Park including the negative.

Aberfoyle Park

"A lovely suburb"

I lived in Aberfoyle Park for over 6 years. I enjoy the nice leafy streets, the family friendly environment, the excellent local services and the fact it takes me just 10 minute to drive to Marion makes it a superb place to live. House prices are still good and the blocks of land are generally large in size. Plenty of parks as well:)
