Adamstown

"Perfectly Positioned to access all that newcastle has to offer"

Adamstown is an often overlooked suburb of Newcastle that backs onto the prestigious suburb of Merewether. Living in Adamstown you will find yourself living 10 minutes or less from all that Newcastle has to offer. Westfield Kotara, Homemakers centre, Bar Beach, Newcastle Harbour, Darby st Cafes, Beaumont St Cafes, are all within 10 minutes from Adamstown. The schools are very highly regarded - which doesn’t affect me now but hopefully in the future! Adamstown train station gives you options to travel to Sydney or to Newcastle CDB which is a bonus also.

I really don’t have many negative things to say about the suburb. Kotara and New Lambton house prices are higher and those suburbs are further west?? Go figure. Adamstown is surely the next big hot spot - the location is too central for prices to stay where they are. If Adamstowns main stretch of shops on Brunker road could jazz it up a little to emulate that of Darby and Beaumont st in neighbouring suburbs then this suburb would be complete!

All in all a very handy, safe, quiet, close to the action but far enough away place to hang you hat
