Love walking around lawnton, lots of lovely parks and reserves. I was out last weekend and saw a beautiful cow in the paddock and then around the corner could hear the calls of a whip bird.
Food options have improved in recent times, now have 3 coffee shops and a Chinese and Indian buffet 5 minutes walk away. Also possible to walk to swimming pool, Saturday markets, churches, bunnings, butcher, fruit shop. Famous lolly shop as well!

Streets are wide so no problem parking on the side of the road. I originally chose this area mainly for its affordability and access to the train but I discovered its much better than I imagined and I don't want to leave
