"Heaven of Southeast Melb"

Good Stuff:
1. Next to new developing CBD - Dandenong.
2. Easily accessable public transport- Hallam & Lynbrook railway station; Train takes 50 min from Hallam to Flinders Street. Easy access to Monash freeway which takes 45 min to city. Public Buses 892,893,894,895 running all day till 9pm. All duplication of Hallam road in 2012.
3. Five scools, 1 secondary colleage, numerous childcare centres.
4. Numerous Bulk billing medical centres, choice of Dandenong or Casey public hospital.
5. Hampton park shopping centre with Coles,Safeway, local butcher,fruit & veggies shops, Dominos , Uncle bucks 2 dollar shop and many asian groceries shops,... truely multicultural shopping centre which is always busy.
6. Public Library.
7. Dandenong Ranges close by & Philip Island only about 90 kms, wow can go there every weekend.
8. Friendly multicural people.
What more will you ask for?

Bad Stuff:
1. Bit neglected by council, more parks needed and some roads need upgradation.
2. Toilets & more parking spaces needed at Hallam Station.
3. Hoon Drivers, young careless drivers.
4. Night life.

Great for

  • Affordable housing

  • Multicultural

Not great for

  • A bit neglected by Council
  • Roads need upgrading
  • Hoon drivers
