I moved to Epping after 10 years living in Box Hill. It's the best life decision I've ever made. My travel to the city each day takes only 10 mins longer than it used to take me to drive to Box Hill then train to city. I know all of my neighbours by name, but still have enough personal space to keep to my own when that's my preference. There are foodie meccas hidden everywhere here - some of the restaurants are outstanding. To top all of that off, the local music scene is fabulous. I highly recommend Epping. It really is Victoria's best kept secret. Jump in before the secret is too wide spread.
