There are too many townhouses located at Eight Mile Plains. Tenants keep changing all the time. I have been living here for 15 years and had my house broken into twice. Every few months or so I do hear about neighbours getting their house broken into. Whenever this happens, you will get a pamphlet from the police advising residence to be vigilant. You do need to use good locks and make sure you lock your doors and windows at night. It is however very convenient with express buses to the city, plentiful restaurants and takeaway shops. There are Woolies and IGA available at walking distance. The IGA even opens on X'mas day. The nearest Westfield is Garden City which is 5 mins drive away. There is a large Korean community here and hence you get specialty Korean supermarkets and restaurants.
