"My choice in the shire"
Ah the Shire, where to start? If you live in lycra and spend more time at the beach or in cafes than your own home, then dig deep and buy in Cronulla. If you own a boat, then Caringbah South is your best bet. However, if you like leafy, family friendly streets full of well- kept homes and close proximity to all amenities, then North Caringbah is my personal preference. This suburb has some fabulous homes in good neighbourhoods, yet it is only a few minutes’ drive (or bike ride) to Cronulla’s beaches. Some streets even have views of Botany Bay and the city skyline. It has a new Bowling Club with really good food and the trendy Mr Paisleys Café, where I have often spotted some very well – known sports people who live in the area. Central Caringbah, has a good selection of eateries and take aways, for example; Essenze handmade chocolates, Simple Simon Pies, Antonios Pizza, Paula’s Thai and The Botanical restaurant at Highfields Hotel Caringbah, which is a busy, trendy place, with outdoor tables enjoying magnificent views over Botany Bay and the city skyline. North Caringbah is a safe, family friendly suburb with good amenities and easy access, yet it is removed from the everyday hustle and bustle of Cronulla. What more could you want.
