Macleay Island is an absolute gem of an island, The house prices are cheap, the homes are unique and people are friendly! Yes it's not for everyone, but if we expected the same it would be boring.
I will never understand why people move here if they want convenience, clearly brainless. I commute 1 hour and 15 minutes to a from work and because it's a routine you get use to it, the boat ride is nice and relaxing and sometimes you just have to appreciate life.

Once on Macleay, you generally relax - especially after a long day, I love the nature, wildlife and the relaxed attitude. For those who say their are "ferals" well newsflash they are everywhere no matter where you go, even internationally.

If you love the water, nature, cheap purchase price of homes, neighbourhood vibes and a relax approach on life then Macleay would suit you.

If your a workaholic and need to be somewhere within 30 minutes then no, or even would like cheaper rates and more general convenience don't move here in the first place.
