I have been living there for nearly 5 years in a rental. Rent is affordable but noise from Parafield airport and the freight train is constant. Also, hear domestic disputes frequently and there's a high turnover of residents in the street. Rubbish commonly littered around and good luck getting a street park. Rentals also seem to be cheaply built so we often hear our neighbours conversing through the wall. I wouldn't recommend for a family. As a first rental moving out of home it was great. Oh and we did find a bag of bullet rounds in the veggie patch soon after we moved in, (yes we handed them in)...
