Alveston Street

"Quiet, friendly street in an established neighbourhood."

Alveston Street has houses only on one side. The other side buffers the railway yard with a gigantic sound proof fence with a green strip and many tall, green trees. The houses are established and tend to have long term residents that cover all age groups. Traffic tends to be only the residents cars. Children ride their bikes on the street. Walking distance to Woolworths, doctor's surgery, chemist, newsagent, bakery, green grocer, service stations. A bit further to banks and another shopping center at Elizabeth Street. Parkland within walking distance.

No public transport close by but as most people have a car this is not a problem. 5 minute drive to Coopers Plains Station - 10 minutes to QEII Hospital and Sunnybank Shopping Centre. Walk to Ice Skating Rink. Small restaurants within walking distance - Indian, Vietnamese, Souths Leagues Club.
