Casula

"The new middle"

I have lived in Casula since I was 7 years old.
Now 34 I have 3 kids and finding it hard to pick a new suburb to move to as we need to upgrade to a bigger home. If there was blocks of land for sale 550sq + I would stay put.

The reason for this is in my observation I believe we are the new middle. Feels like 30 minutes to anywhere. 30 minutes to Camden, 30 minutes to leichardt, 6 minutes to Liverpool, 30 minutes to Parramatta, Just over 30 minutes to the airport (without peak hour traffic) I'm 2 minutes from the m5 and 5 minutes from the m7.

Bus stops are everywhere, there are few train stations to choose from. Casula, Glenfied or Liverpool station.

Casula mall has an Aldi, Coles and Kmart.
Although parking is shocking.
On the Hume highway of Casula there is a set of shops which has a chemist, take away, fruit shop, fish shop, newsagent bakery etc.

Casula also has few good local schools in surrounding suburbs. I am unsure of the public schools but I know of some private/catholic school which are great.

There are a few parks around but I will be honest I usually enjoy the skate park at Carnes hill, driving to different parks in the newer estates being built.

There are now a few new places to eat at Casula mall but nothing fancy.
