Casella Street

"An eastern suburb of Melbourne with access to everything"

We have lived in the street for over 17 years the neighbours in the area are long term which provides a good indication of what a great spot it is. The street is in a green belt with access to walking and bike trails that run in various directions i.e. to the city or up the east link trail. The area is well serviced with schools, both private and public, mitcham hospital and public transport. A 5 minute drive to Eastland, kosco and whitehorses golden mile that boast a vast array of furniture and living stores. There’s no need to travel to Church Street Richmond or Chapel Street Sth Yarra as stores that were traditionally there are now available within 5km radius. A quick walk to Mitcham for breakfast where there are a number of fantastic cafes, or for dinner with a large variety of restaurants to chose from. Or just meet up with friends at the fabulous upstairs bar that sits above the craft beer bottle shop. Close to eastlink with easy access to the city or down to the peninsula. Warrandyte is approx 15 minute drive away which has a few great wineries and restaurants. Yarra Valley is only an approx 30minute drive if you need an easy day trip out. This street, the community and the suburb is brilliant and excellently located. We have enjoyed it both before and after children and it has something for everyone.
