There is a local tennis club a few doors down as well as the Athol Road Shopping Centre. Locals can find the freshest food daily here, it is only less than 45km from the CBD. Perfect for young professionals.

Many familes love to live on Janine road because of its central location, it is directly on the street for Keysborough Secondary College. Many locals go here because of it's extra curriculum actives and newly updated facilities. It is one of the best local high schools in the area that has been injected with millions of dollar from the government. They recently built new sporting, arts and kitchen facilities for the students. A few new homes are also being built on this street, adding value in the long term.

Hume Road is one of the most busy streets during certain times of the year, it is close to a few of the Chinese, Vietnamese and Cambodian Temples. During festival season, people flock from all around the greater city of dandenong to visit. They offer a variety of music, food and cultural diversities on these night which light up the whole neighbourhood. They also have fireworks during these weekends which you can view from the comfort of your own home. It is a sight to see when the locals dress up in their traditional clothing.

Sharon Road is one of the most up and coming streets in springvale south. There is currently a few homes that has just been knock down and getting ready to be built. It just shows how much this location means to the local community, close to Burden Park, Keysborough Secondary College, Heatherhill Primary school, Athol road and Springvale shopping centre. Ideal for families to call a forever home. Neighbourhood is very friendly with a lot of elder people who has been there for over 20 years.

Somerfield is a new development part of Keysborough, ranging from a small corner block home, to a large double story mansion. It is a highly recommended area with many young family and professionals living there. Very family friendly orientated neighbourhood and nicely built homes.

When people talk about Springvale South, one street comes above all else. Athol road is locally known for the central location of this quiet suburb. All though it isn't a main road, it is highly used to cut through other suburbs and amenities. On one end, we have Athol Road Shopping Centre, locally filled with fresh meat and vegetables. One of my favourite restaurant Minh Ky serving freshly cooked roast duck and pork daily. Highly recommend buying on this street and building a nice double story home. Because you'd be set for life.

Springvale has changed significantly over the last 10 years, it has really cleaned up nicely. Alot of development has attracted people from all over melbourne to come for the food but stay for the community. I highly recommended Bún Ngon, they have the best Bún bò Huế and gives a generous serving size and a cheap price. Ikea home maker and M-city development nearby has really revolved the suburb and bringing back some life. Great place to buy an older home and knock down rebuild like so many around.

I live a few suburbs away, I love to travel up to Glen Waverly for their variety of Restaurant. With the new upgrade to the Glen shopping centre, the options for dining is endless. In my very busy day life, there are so many late night dining options from Japanese, Burgers or a sweet treat crepe. Abosolutely love it here.
