Redbank Plains

"living in a low class area"

There are breakins around and on the increase. If you have a nice front fence it is constantly graffitied. As soon as you get rid of it, it's back. The vacant shop down the street is covered in it and has had its windows smashed so many times they have boarded it up. There is graffiti on the road signs and on peoples property all over redbank plains, they even graffitied an elderly persons garage door. I have a solar powered house number which today I noticed has been smashed they hit it with such force that not only the glass was smashed the metal casing was cracked in several places.
I have great neighbours either side that unfortunately suffer this as well. One had his letterbox smashed off the pole.
The other side has had bikes stolen and the people next to them their dog was stolen.

Great for

  • Shops, food, local entertainment, public transport - all close by
  • Walk to local shopping centres, short drive to Orion Shopping Centre
  • Parks and kids play areas

Not great for

  • Stay clear of redbank plains rd constant traffic
  • Buses are every hour on weekends and they are an unreliable form of transportation if you need to get to work.
  • Dealing with constant graffiti.
  • Council needs to be called to mow council strips
  • Optus not available in the area
  • Public Transport is ordinary after 5pm on a weekend/public holiday
  • Stay clear of Henty Drive area if you want piece and quiet
  • Hard to get internet access until they upgrade the exchange.
