Hard to beat the location from the standpoint of convenience and shopping options. Most of the shops in the Clayton road shopping centre are open until quite late too. Great groceries and butcher's and bread shops at really reasonable prices. Local buses also go direct to Oakleigh village shopping justa few minutes away. And the train station's right there too. Stay north of Centre Road; below that its "Clayton South" which is a somewhat less nicer area.
