Chester Hill

"Excellent place to raise a family"

A hidden gem of Sydney suburbia. Excellent selective high school, family oriented, clean air and room to grow a family. Around 30 minutes to Central by peak hour train, Chester Hill is a fantastic suburb to buy an old place on a big lot. Remodel, put in your own pool, make it your own. Chester Hill is a place where families live and let live. And talk about international - choose from Thai, Lebanese, pizza or Chinese - you can even get great sushi at Chester Square. The RSL is clean and family oriented and the community centre on Chester Hill Road is a fantastic resource as is Chester Hill library right across the street. Chester Hill has been home to Terry Lamb (football), Christian Heim (psychiatrist and composer), and George Betsis (international businessman). True value and a great place to buy in Sydney. Highly recommended.

you have either been walking around with you eyes closed or have been to Chester Hill briefly and did not have a good look around, this is the last place I would think about raising my children.

Chester Hill is a great place for down to earth hard working families. It has a live and let live attitude and it's close to the city for work and catching the train to uni or college. The schools are as good as anywhere else and the public library is always full of kids studying hard. Good famillies and good schools = good kids
