Johnston Street

"Close to Westfield Carindale, Good for singles and couples."

Convenient location with plenty of access to buses, Always quiet at night time as most people are full time workers. there is an occasional party but I've never seen anything get out of hand.

The streets are often packed to the brim with cars and this gets worse when the weekend approaches, many cars travel through at all the normal hours and with narrow roads you want to make sure you can have your cars off the sides of the road as I've had a car damaged.

Most of the units/town-houses look the same as with the gardens and this makes it quite boring to look at (although this may appeal to some people).

The suburb as a whole is expensive to live in and this street is no exception.

There is barely any cockroaches I think I've seen 3 in about 2.5 years.

The properties must have been thrown up in a haste like all units/town-houses now days because there's a lot of design flaws (in the older properties at least) such as large bedroom windows facing the morning sun. They also follow the traditional new age trend of being made completely out cheap rubbish with flashy looking fixtures to disguise this and will fail in the short-term.

Also if you want a reasonable net connection you're out of luck due to the big green box on Epala street which creates a pair gain system which means you will only be able to get ADSL1 if you can manage to score that.

All in all it's a pretty nice place to live if you're a couple or a single or a few people sharing rent and it's really close to Westfield Carindale where you can buy pretty much anything, there's just a few flaws that make it not appeal to me any longer.
