Ashgrove has many parks, walking tracks and playgrounds. It is great for families with children. Ashgrove State School is excellent and lives up to its reputation as the best school in the area. Great sporting facilities and clubs. Many tree lined streets with character houses which have been retained in some areas. These character areas are quite unique to Ashgrove. Quick, easy commute to city. Great neighbourhood spirit where you know your neighbours by name, and look out for each other. Have lived here for over 10 years and would not live anywhere else. Hard to find a nicer suburb, 5km to city.
