We built a house on a waterfront block in Champion Lakes in 2015. It's a beautiful suburb with a large, clean lake giving opportunities for swimming, kayaking, standup paddleboaring, bird-watching, walking, running and cycling to the local residents. There are clean, well-maintained parks with pergolas and BBQs which are always available. There are two beaches and a new commercial area with cafes and shops is being developed. The community is small, friendly, respectful and supportive. Aldi, GP clinic, pharmacy and takeaway shops are within walking distance. Perth Hills with local markets, wineries, nature reserves and breath-taking views are a short drive away.
