Rhodes

"Prices at Rhodes"

The price reflect demand and supply. They are still building at Rhodes but all development will end over the next 3-5 years.
That is, there will be not further increase in supply. But because of all the positives listed in the reviews and despite the negitives, demand will continue to increase.
In fact, I think demand will sky rocket, that is why I bought there.

Let me declare that I am not a real estate agent
If you think prices are expensive now, just wait 3-5 years. My advice? BUY NOW

A quick comment on it being dirty. Yes and this could be due to the large number of construction workers who do not care about the area.
In 3-5 yeats, the construction workers will be gone.

Great for

  • Close to shopping centre and IKEA
  • Railway line
  • New (modern) developments
  • Private- everyone keeps to themselves
  • Facilities for walking pets

Not great for

  • Slow internet
  • Dirty

Arbor is at war with rhodes....you appear on every thread I notice.

All Sydney has history. Homebush all the way to Tempe has had toxic sites and remediation has been taken out to make them habitable again. They may never be exactly how they were before but that's ok. Life goes on. No one swims in Sydney Harbour and we arnt playing in the mud are we. Fortunately we have government in place that takes these things seriously without shortcuts like other countries may where corruption can rule. Australia is good in this way. Over regulated but it's not the worst thing.
The 25 year environmental clean up in rhodes, completed in 2014, was the largest in Australias history. But you know best Arbor.
