"Tucked away little gem..."
Inskip Street is a narrow one way street in Rocklea that is on the other side of the Ipswich motorway. It runs parallel with Sherwood Road and is 2 minutes walk to the Brisbane Markets.
There is ample parking and nearly all houses have double blocks (1012 square metres) with 20 metres frontage. Houses are not "glued" to each other like other suburbs of Brisbane where people can hear their neighbours fart or arguing.
It is a green and leafy street, dormant and quiet. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walking distance that will take you to Indooroopilly or the City. Rocklea train station or Moorooka train station are walking distance.
There are 2 parks at the corner of Melbourne st. and Inskip st. and also 2 petrol stations within walking distance - one of which is open 24 hours for your convenience.
The noise and traffic from Sherwood road is shielded by the houses on Sherwood road. The neighbours are friendly helpful.

"Diamond in the rough, waiting to be polished."
Rocklea is Brisbane's best kept secret... like a diamond in the rough, waiting to be found and polished. Close to the city, transport, major highways and shopping centres. It is a quiet suburb that will have huge investment gains in the future. Where else can you buy a house on 1012 square meter block of land, 8 klms from the city (as the crow flies).
Great for
- City views
- Brisbane Markets
- Close to city and perstigious suburbs (Tennyson, Sherwood, Graceville, Chelmer)
- Cheap double-blocks with huge potential
- Close to Trains & Buses
- Natural Gas to homes
- NBN coming soon!
Not great for
- Need more people to realise the HUGE potential
- Many old house to renovate (renovator's dreams??!!)
- More people need to realise the HUGE potential
