Rusden Street

"LOVE IT!"

I have lived here for 2 years now. I adore this street. The biggest problem here is finding a parking space, but that's the same with every St near Brisbane CBD. So close to the city, it only takes me 40 minutes to walk to the city, and I walk fairly slowly. Roma St parklands is about 30 minutes walk, and my son and I love going there on my days off, it's lovely for a picnic and playing in the grass. Kelvin Grove QUT, with a number of restaurants, a swimming pool, a gym, a bottle shop, a butcher, a hairdresser and a woolworths, is only a 5 minute walk from my front door. Even though we are only a couple of streets away from Kelvin Grove Rd there is no noise from it at all. This street in particular is very quiet during the day and the night. So close to bus stops, roma st train station isn't far. The barracks is only a 30 minute walk where there is a cinema some lovely restaurants and some great boutique type stores. I walk to Suncorp stadium to see the reds. There are a number of dr's surgery's just around the corner. This street is very safe, in the 2 years I have lived here there has never been a problem in or around this street, no break ins, no vandalism, nothing that requires police or security at all. It really is a lovely place to live. Everything is at your finger tips.
