We moved here to Sandpiper Loop ten years ago to get into our first home and have stayed ever since. We had a modest budget and needed somewhere near the freeway but wanted to be close to the beach and near private schooling. A small ask but we found it!
We did a thorough drive around streets and at all times of the day to see where the quiet spots were. Our street is very friendly with a mix of retirees and young families and we feel very safe in the area.
We are walking distance to primary school and love having the parks and local shops nearby if we can't get up to Cockburn Central. We love the beach and Coogee has a wonderful surf club and new facilities built recently. Looking forward to the new aquatic centre being built next year in Cockburn. South Lakes pools nearby are okay but need an update. Very good value considering other areas nearby are substantially more in price with smaller blocks.
