Camp Hill

"Best street in Camp Hill"

City View Rd is a beautiful wide street lined with massive old trees. Many homes have views of the city or moutains and even though it is 15 minutes from the city it feels like you are close to nature as there are a lot of birds and wildlife. Most of the houses have been renovated but each is unique which adds to the overall charm of the street. Neighbours are active and friendly but also happy to give you privacy if you aren't somebody who is interested in socialising. There is no nightlife (apart from good restaurants) but you are close enough to the city to catch a cab in and back without breaking the bank balance. City View rd runs off Old Cleveland rd which means public transport is at your doorstep. The road is very quiet with not a lot of traffic. Carindale shopping centre is 5 minutes drive in case you need some retail therapy. You can walk to Woolworths which is one street over. There are also some great restaurants on Martha st - 2 minutes down the road. If you are looking for a cheap night out then you can't go wrong with Sings on Cavendish which is BYO. If you would like fine dining 'Cinco' is at the top of the street on Old Cleveland - but book first as it is always full. I lived in Bulimba prior to moving to Camp Hill. City View is without a doubt the nicest home and street I have ever lived in. You can't go wrong!
