"Not what it used to be :("
Low cost housing has encouraged many uneducated and low income individuals to move out here. It is definately not as safe as it used to be, with some serious crimes occurring. There is absolutely no entertainment for teenagers so altough the kids are happy enough in primary school you can expect to be travelling around alot as they get older as the only place for entertainment is in ipswich which is not a comforting thought either. No medical facilities are in minden and those in neighbouring suburbs have intolerable long waiting periods. If or when you decide to sell your house expect it to be on the market forever as there are so many houses for sale out here and I wouldnt expect to make a profit either as house prices are pretty ordinary.

@ bellbird57, when you say "Low cost housing has encouraged many uneducated and low income individuals to move out here" I presume you mean people like yourself who cannot spell "definitely" correctly? Yes indeed, lack of education is appalling.
