Hallett Cove

"Small town feeling but so far away from everything"

Growing up we liked living in Hallett Cove because we had a big grassy backyard to play in. Fast forward to the ages of playing sports and meeting friends around Adelaide and it became a pain. Then later driving all the way to uni, getting home from nights out in town, I stayed at so many friends places! Better for retirees. It is a very odd feeling living so far from the rest of Adelaide. People make a big fuss about driving out to you. Looks great out of the windows but forget lunch outside. So windy that we had an outdoor setting that never got used because of the wind. Good value in that blocks are bigger than the average and mostly well priced. Depends what you value though.

This review wont help nobody just because you found it too windy and poor you couldnt go out into your backyard bescuae it was too windy. Find something more useful to talk about an area rather than stupid unhelpful reasons.

I found the comment extremely helpful actually. That s what this website is for; to get a broad perspective rather than a totally biased point of view.

I found this comment more helpful than yours above. The main objective of this website is to give a broad perspective not a biased point of view to suit your opinions.

Lovely place to live and you learn to live with any wind. The views make up for any slight inconvenience

I found this comment very useful also. What a shock that feedback about actually living in a house there turns out to be relevant *sigh

Park Holme

"Best location"

We have been renting in this suburb for almost 4 years and are hoping to buy here or in nearby Morphettville when more land opens up. Unfortunately for us prices are rising. This area is great. 10 minutes from town, close to trams, trains, 5 minutes to the beach, close to major hospital, close to Marion, and not far from the hills, king william rd etc. It's rapidly on the rise as old housing trust is boarded up and new homes built. Lots of parks and upgrades due to the swim centre. Close to loads of good schools. Having previously lived down south I must say that location is everything! Nowhere is far away. Love it here and so badly want a new house here one day soon.
