Central Avenue

"Long street"

Good street to live in but would be wise if the council dropped some road jumps down. The occasional motorcycles might zoom past. Otherwise, safe and sound. Mix of residents and a lovely park in the middle of the Avenue.

Moonah

"Exciting suburb north of Hobart CBD"

Moonah has its own story and a true blue identity. First of the Northern Suburbs outside of Hobart but still considered part of the Greater Hobart Region.

My wife and I purchased our first home in Moonah four years past, this was the best decision we made regarding property.

Cafes and restaurants abounding with all amenities for every age group. Access to the city is quite good with über and the 10min buses into Hobart (bring on the light rail!).

Plenty of parks and schools surround our home, good if you’ve got kids. We’ve got dogs instead, so we enjoy the parks and close proximity to groomers and pet stores.

I’d consider Moonah to be a safe suburb, like all places, after-hours can get sketchy but that’s indicative of all areas of Australia following too much grog (primarily near the pubs).

We love our Moonah.
