Mango Hill
10th May 2026

"A paradise for families riddled with teenage devils from hell."

Mangohill used to be one of the quiet and calm places and most sought after locations in Brisbane north. I’ve been a resident since almost 8years and much has changed since. With morning walks where you could hear birds chirping and fresh air and all amenities at doorstep it used to be beautiful. But since the last 3-4years after Covid there has been people moving over and with development of new rentals and housing there has been increase in crime. Teenagers who doesn’t have any regard or respect for law rampaging houses, burning houses (https://amp.9news.com.au/article/2a2e27f3-d51d-4478-b135-805ff67a8590) , armed robbery, assault on families (walking with kids after hard day of work recently), racial abuse and threats. These low lives and Bogans have destroyed this suburb. Where as realestate agencies are trying their best to inflate the property prices they never talk about the realities of the suburb other than the amenities near by. Hooning now like a regular thing in some streets - the nuisance with these badly parented teenagers are real - their parents should be made accountable and brought to justice for raising their kids to be criminals. Disposing waste at parks and drinking at capestone lake park and bashing the glass bottles are their hobby. If council and lawmakers don’t take strict measures this suburb is soon-going to become a nightmare in near future for whole of Brisbane.
