Great suburb for easy city access vie ferry or bus, and views of the harbour. No major roads through so it so very peaceful with lots of cafes and restaurants, and a small village type atmosphere.

Not a cheap place to live, and lacks beaches or train connections in the area. That said if you don't need to venture much beyond the city and harbour area it's very easy to live here car free.

If you don't need a larger living space and can afford to, Balmain is a great option.
