I've lived in Nollamara since 2012. Since I've lived here there has been about 10 new houses built on my street alone. Very quiet and lovely neighbours and great access to public transport, CBD, beach & Leedy. The local shops are pretty convenient and also has Kakulas Sisters which is a real gem. The local shopping center could use a renovation and a few derros around sometimes but this is Perth, you get that everywhere. It's only a 6 minute drive to Dogswamp shops which is where I mostly shop. If they improved the local shops and spent a bit of money on it I would go there more. Overall it is a great suburb that is centrally located. I used to live in Scarbough and suffered a few break-ins, but never had an issue in Nollamara. I have friends in Yokine that have had break-ins which is a nearby suburb but supposedly better. One final complain I have is more for the entire city of Perth. People need to stop parking on lawns. They should issue parking fines since it kills the grass and doesn't look orderly or lawful.
