Berwick

"Toorak in the country"

Fantastic established high street with all amenities. Excellent schools - both private & public with some ranked in the top 10 VCE schools for the state. Travel to CBD via Monash off-peak in roughly 35 minutes - better than some bayside commutes! Great executive lifestyle without the Toorak price tags.

.....and without the Toorak quality properties

Well said on your coments,I couldn't have said any better. The people living in Berwick are more down to earth and friendly,I don't drive a B.M.W , but one thing for sure I know the persons name living next door to me.This is the country life style here, wouldn't have it any other way. staysafe.

Go down Beaumont road the area speaks volumes for itself! Some of the beautifully designed houses in there are selling in the 2-3 million range. Bereick is booming an Old houses in Mansfield street berwick in an 800sqm block has sold for 900k just recently.

Jason66 I think youll find that Berwick is flooded with luxury cars now, you cant drive anywhere in Berwick without seeing an endless amount of range rovers, BMWs, Mercedes, Porsches and so on. The fact that they have opened up a Jaguar land Rover dealership and a Lexus dealership speaks for itself. Not to mention Berwick has had a Mercedes and an Audi dealership for years.

Jasonr11 Im not sure what part of Berwick youre from or are familiar with but I dont see too many Africans around. Nor have I ever in nearly 20 years had any experience or known anyone to have had experiences of crime, particularly stolen cars.

Jasonr11 welcome to Victoria, the whole state is known for these incidents. Would you believe that the City of Caseys crime rate is nearly half that of Stonnington (where Toorak, south Yarra and Prahran are). This stuff happens anywhere no matter how good or bad a suburb is.

Jason11 Id say Cranbourne would be the most likely case, most crime in Berwick seems to happen on the south side closest to the Clyde/ Cranbourne area. I believe the incident you were referring to was at the Old Cheese factory on Homestead road.
