North Shoal Creek
"Short commute, close to eclectic shops, charming neighborhood"
My husband and I just bought a house in North Shoal Creek. We moved to Austin from out of state. It's a perfect location for everything you need. It's close to major roads, 183 and Mopac, the post office, a neighborhood grocery store and cool, funky shops. I like that the area is quiet and has beautiful old oak trees. Our commutes are less than 10 minutes. I can also walk my kid to Pillow Elementary every morning.
Great for
- Easy to walk anywhere
- Close to the hospital, post office, etc.
- Green and clean
- Many restaurants and shops
- Peace and quiet
Not great for
- None that I can think of
