Elystan Road

"A lovely street - Elystan Road, my home"

Elystan Road is the perfect place to live if you are single or a couple with grown children. It is far enough down the peninsula to still be very quiet and peaceful. Just a small walk away are some great cafes and restaurants as well as a well stocked supermarket (opened daily from 7 to 9, even weekends and watch out Sunday afternoon! You'd think the floods were coming again!) A small drive up Brunswick, you will find another smaller supermarket opened from 6 to midnight every single day of the year! Across from Elystan is New Farm Park, offering lots of free and paid activities all year round including free tai chi on Saturday mornings and paid outdoor cinema over the Christmas period. Right there too is the Brisbane Powerhouse, a cultural and entertainment hub... watch out for the comedians early in the year! Come. Relax. Experience Elystan.

  • Some New Farmians can be too concerned with themselves, i.e. snobby
