there's nothing nice about this town. after it was deserted by the local council in favour of Maroochydore, it went from bad to little improvement, to very bad with a lot of social housing and losers hanging around town. there was a bit of an art scene revival but with covid-19, it all went busted and won't resurface any time soon. people moving here is not out of choice but necessity as the coastal areas are getting pricier by the minute, thanks to Sydneysiders and Melbournian. it's the center of nothingness at best.
