Hampstead Road

"Pleasant leafy street"

In may 2009 I bought a property in Hampstead Rd however have only lived here for just on 12 months. Moving from a quiet street in Strathfield with large homes and no units in sight I was worried at the thought of living in such a highly populated street with so many residential units. Living here now for 12 months has been such a pleasant experience. The section of road between Kessle Ave and Arthur St has proven to not only be clean and tidy but also very peaceful and quiet. I have found that there has never been a problem with on street parking, litter scattered on the street or un-kept gardens. It is great to have the park just across the road from my unit block as there are always children playing there of an afternoon and family gatherings on weekends.
Of a weekend parking can be slightly tight during the middle of the day as Hampstead Rd is within such close proximity to Flemington Markets, shops and transport which makes it an easy and attractive place to park. In addition to that you will find directly opposite Exeter Rd there is a church which will gather quite a few people on a Sunday or the occasional Saturday wedding with will also create tight parking for an hour or two.
In summary I love the street and have since bought another property in the street as it is not only a fantastic place t invest it is also with close proximity to all desired amenities.
