Wonderful place to live. I work in Brisbane and get home lunchtime friday and Leave the car keys in the drawer until monday. The morning cup of tea is still too hot to drink when u do the first light surf check. The local Kids have no idea that 95% of people in australia do not have the beach up the road, the river down the road and shopping centre and surf club, just a push bike ride away. surf out the front mostly, when the swell and wind is up we surf at Point cartwright- fantastic point break- 5min pushy ride. Excellent Fishing options also in the river or beach.
