Bray Park

"Thoroughly check out the area before you buy"

I rented in Tasman St for a few years and I wouldn't recommend it (noisy, lots of rough characters living in the street, lots of drunk people walking home from the tavern and servo causing mayhem, I had to actually call the police a few times due to property damage). Friends couldn't leave their cars out on the street when staying over as they would end up having number plates removed or being damaged in some way. The other street to look out for is Baker Street as I often walked through there and there seemed to be some troublesome residents in that area too. Some areas of Bray Park are lovely and peaceful - it just depends on the area and I would strongly recommend that any home buyers survey the area thoroughly before buying (you can tell a lot about an area if you check it out at different times of the day, check the streets for litter and broken bottles, graffiti, broken fences/letterboxes, broken down cars, unkept yards). Bray Park is one of those areas where one street can be lovely and the next can be horrible (and don't let the newness of the houses fool you either). I just wanted to share this with possible buyers so they can make an informed decision.
